Fee Structure for Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021

  • These rates are based on an internal audit of costs and are subject to annual review. Rates for internal UCONN researchers are shown.  Rates billed to external (non-UCONN) customers must include institutional indirect costs even though these costs are not included in the rates for internal University users. The FY 20-21 rate adds an additional 35% to billable services.
  • Projects are not limited to the sample numbers shown in each section. For sample pricing greater than numbers shown, please contact the Chromosome Core.

Karyotyping $360
Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH) $500

*FISH pricing is based on single probe hybridization. Additional fees may apply for labeling, is dependent on probe type, label requested and the number of hybridizations required. $50 for each additional probe, up to three probes hybridization maximum. Researcher may submit own probe.
