Instrumentation

All instrumentation is accessible to faculty and students pending appropriate training. The extent of training needed before independent use depends on the instrumentation and skill level of the user.  Training is required for all next generation sequencing platforms (if users would like to use instruments independently) and can be met by either attending a workshop or setting up one-on-one training with CGI staff. If individuals are not comfortable working independently, he/she can request supervision from the CGI staff.

In addition to instrument access, the CGI also offers fee-for-service for NextGen sequencing and genotyping services.  A full list of services and associated costs can be found by visiting the CGI Service Rates page. If you have questions or would like more information about any of the services provided by the CGI, contact Bo Reese.
