    Upcoming Events:

    1. 3/2 CBC Workshop: Virtual RNA-Seq Analysis (Model Species)

CBC Workshop: Virtual RNA-Seq Analysis (Model Species)

      Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021

      09:00 AM - 12:00 PM

      Storrs Campus
      online

The aim of the workshop is to provide understanding of an RNA-Seq study from experimental design to identifying differential expressed genes and their GO term analysis. The workshop will begin by introduction to HPC and Linux programming followed by discussion on High Throughput Sequencing (HTS) and RNA-Seq experimental design. Data Analysis workflow will include Raw reads (fastq) to mapping of reads to reference, Feature Count, Introduction to R, DE analysis and visualization (DESeq2), Biomart and GO analysis. Workshop will cover rational behind the workflow and tools used.
